On Monday we did 400 standing squats, 100 (really 200) standing lunges, and ran 1.5 miles. We were finished before 6:00am. On Tuesday, MO (Mini-OMega) and I biked 16-miles. He did it on his little Huffy. I did the ride hauling my two year old twin daughters in a carrier. My legs are still sore.

In the past 2 weeks, Mrs. Omega took second place in her division of a triathlon and Mini-Omega placed fourth in his division of a youth triathlon. That has left me thinking... perhaps I should enter a triathlon. I know I can survive the 20k bike ride and the 5k run - however, I am concerned about the 1/2 mile swim. Once I become confident that I will not drown, I plan to enter a triathlon.

Mrs. Omega and MO (Mini-Omega) competed in a 5k last night at Carriage Hill Park in Dayton as part of the ORRRC trail series. There were a couple hundred runners on hand for the event. Mrs. Omega took 3rd place in her age group. MO took fourth place in his age group.

Mrs. Omega competed in a triathlon this morning. She swam 750 meters, rode her bike in a 20k, and ran a 5k. She did a great job. I am proud of her. This week, she and Mini-Omega will compete in another 5k.

At WrestleMania 20, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit stood in the center of the ring and celebrated world championship victories. Two small stature wrestlers who toiled for years and years finally reached the top of a business that prides itself on being larger than life. Their in-ring celebration seems like a lifetime ago.
A little more than a year later, Eddie passed away in a hotel room far from his wife and children. Chris murdered his wife and son. It is hard to turn the page when guys who were such fabulous performers in the ring lead such tragic lives outside of the ring. I digress.

We just returned from a family vacation at Lake Cumberland in Kentucky. This was the first vacation we have taken in several years. Due to schedule (coaching) conflicts, I have not been able to go on vacations. This was an excellent trip. We went swimming, horse backing riding, fishing, and played mini-golf.
Congrats to a couple of guys I know who go by the moniker
Soul Shooters. Dru and Apollo had a dark match with
ROH last Friday in Dayton.
Kudos also go to Sami Calihan. Sami wrestled on the ROH card as well. He has completely changed. I remember him as a chubby goofy kid. He has obviously been working out and takes things very seriously. Good for him.
